Monday, October 9th, 2023: Something fun and different – the Achenseebahn. It was about an hour’s drive. We boarded the oldest European cog-wheel train, operating since 1889, of course, in our reserved private train car. We chugged up to the town of Seespitz where a steamboat was waiting for us to take us to Pertisau to THE best place in town for lunch.
Today was a fabulous interlude from driving the Autobahn and mountain passes. Our goal is to take you to places and enjoy events you would never find on your own. Once again the first and most important element of our trip arrangements was secure reserved parking. Thank you my friend Joschi.
