Saturday, October 14th, 2023: The final driving day of the Interalpen Porche trip lead us back to Stuttgart via the Black Forest. Even though there was a light rain, the dense pine trees on either side of the winding road looked peaceful and serene. Along the way, we stopped in at a Cuckoo Clock Company that is owned by a good friend of mine. One of the customers loved the clocks so much she bought 3 to be shipped back to the US. The group was taken upstairs to his private workshop to view a very special work of art clock concept that I asked him to think about designing. We appreciated the remarkable details and craftsmanship that go into such a true work of art. True craftsmanship is alive and well in the Black Forest.
