The pre-departure panic was underscored by the charge of $855 for excess luggage when I checked into my Delta flight # (insert #) TPA to ATL connecting to DL 116 ATL to STR – otherwise known as Stuttgart, the PORSCHE Heaven. For a couple of years, the non-stop flight to the capital of Baden-Württemberg was not operating because of the damn Pandemic.
I was on the way to conduct the event known as the PCA PORSCHE Treffen – a German word for meeting or getting together in this case for some fabulous fun and exciting PORSCHE driving experience. I was pretty beat because the week before such a trip is very intense – it’s like planning a wedding every day for two weeks.
At the gate in ATL I met three of our customers: Robby, Ralph, and Diane.
