Thursday, October 12th, 2023: Today we said goodbye to the beautiful Interalpen Hotel and Austria. We loaded up the luggage in the morning and headed down to the parking garage. On our way to Lindau, Germany via the Silvretta Hochalpenstrasse, we stopped to have coffee with the beautiful view of the reservoir. Unfortunately, the shop in the restaurant was closed because this was the end of the tourist season in this area. We then continued our drive, winding through the stunning mountain landscapes. Once we arrived on the island of Lindau, we checked in to the Hotel Bayerischer Hof. The group was greeted with canapes and cocktails on the terrace. We enjoyed our view of Lake Constance as the locals performed on the street. The afternoon was relaxed and after freshening up, we met for a wonderful three course meal in the hotel.
