Twelve Alpine Passes PORSCHE Fest 2024

Monday, June 17, 2024

Depart from your home for your overnight flight to Europe. To enhance your experience, we suggest arriving in Stuttgart a day ahead to allow time for relaxation, adjusting to the time change, and exploring the area. Tuesday, June 18th

• Arrive in Stuttgart and check in to the V8 Hotel
• Motor coach transportation to the Graf Zeppelin Hotel
• Mandatory Driver’s Briefing
• Lunch at the Graf Zeppelin Stüble
• Mercedes Musuem
• Dinner at the Tower 66 Steakhouse & Bar

Upon arrival in Stuttgart, you will be met at the airport and transferred to our hotel, the V8 Hotel. After you check in and freshen up, we will transfer to the Graf Zeppelin Hotel for our Driver’s Briefing and completion of the PORSCHE waivers.

After lunch and the briefing, we will transfer to the fascinating Mercedes Museum for a look at the history of motor vehicles.

Tonight, we will have an early dinner and drinks at the Tower 66 Steakhouse & Bar. You’ll get a well-deserved good night’s rest tonight at the V8 Hotel.

Wednesday, June 19th

• PORSCHE Museum and Factory tours
• Lunch in PORSCHE Museum
• Dinner at Ristorante Da Signora

You’ll start your day with a hearty breakfast in the V8 Hotel. After breakfast, we will board our luxury motor coach to the PORSCHE Museum at Porscheplatz 1 in Stuttgart/Zuffenhausen.

We’ll have a private guided tour through the PORSCHE Factory and the PORSCHE Museum. You will also visit some closed to-the-public, behind the scenes areas like the New Car Delivery, Goodie Store and Special Selection areas.

We will also enjoy a special lunch hosted by PORSCHE AG in the elegant and renowned Christophorus Restaurant at the PORSCHE Museum.

After we return to the hotel, you’ll have time to freshen up before we meet in the lobby for our short walk to Ristorante Da Signora for drinks and dinner, offering the finest of Italian cuisine (B,L,D)

Thursday, June 20th

• After breakfast, you will be transferred to the Porsche Museum
• Drive via Autobahns into the Bavarian Alps
• Lunch at Schlossanger Alp
• Experience first Alpine passes– the Oberjoch and Hahntennjoch
• Drive to Telfs, Austria
• Pre-dinner drinks and dinner at Hotel Interalpen Tirol

Enjoy a fabulous breakfast at the V8 Hotel. Please check out and have your large luggage in the lobby to load into our luggage van. Our motor coach will transfer us to the
PORSCHE Museum where the PORSCHE you selected will be waiting for you. We will introduce you to your PORSCHE, including familiarization with the PDK Transmission and the Navigation Systems before departing Stuttgart heading south on the Autobahn toward Bavaria. We’ll stop for lunch high up in the Bavarian mountains at the rustic and lovely Schlossanger Alp Restaurant and Hotel.

After lunch, we will cross into Austria and over our first two Alpine passes – the Oberjoch and the fun Hahntennjoch – on our way to one of the most beautifully situated hotels, the Interalpen Hotel Tirol.

Dinner and drinks tonight will be in Alpine splendor at the Interalpen Hotel Tirol. (B, L, D)

Friday, June 21st

• Drive Alpine roads in Austria to Switzerland to northern Italy
• Drive the Timmelsjoch pass into northern Italy
• Lunch at our hotel the Chalet Mirabell
• Dinner and drinks at the Hotel Chalet Mirabell

Enjoy a delightful breakfast at the Hotel Chalet Mirabell before departing in our PORSCHES for Meran, Italy. Please remember to check out and load your luggage in our van. We’ll drive on beautiful Alpine roads winding through and over the mountains, crossing the spectacular Alpine pass, the Timmelsjoch.

After we settle in and refresh, we will meet for dinner and drinks at this fabulous hotel (B,L,D)

Saturday, June 22nd

• Drive through Italian Alps into Switzerland
• Drive the Stelvio, Foscano, Livigno and Bernina passes
• Lunch on the Passo di Stelvio
• Dinner and drinks at Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski St. Moritz

Enjoy breakfast this morning at the Hotel Chalet Mirabell before we embark on an exciting day of Alpine driving. Please check out and load your luggage in the van. We’ll drive over the first of four Alpine passes this morning – the Passo di Stelvio.

After our fun morning drive, we will stop for lunch at Franzenshöhe Restaurant located in the middle of the Passo di Stelvio.

After lunch, we will cross over three more Alpine passes: Passo di Foscano, Passo di Livigno and Passo Bernina before arriving in St. Moritz and the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski. We will have an exquisite dinner and drinks tonight at the hotel. (B,L,D)

Sunday, June 23rd

• Drive across Alpine Switzerland
• Drive Julier and Oberalp Passes
• Lunch at Piz Calmot on Oberalp Pass
• Dinner and drinks at Kempinski Palace Engelberg

After a lovely breakfast at the Grand Hotel des Bains Kempinski, please check out and load your luggage in our luggage van. We depart in our PORSCHES on scenic Swiss Alpine roads and cross two passes today, the Julier Pass and the Oberalp Pass.

We will stop for lunch at a charming little restaurant, Piz Calmot, on top of the Oberalp Pass, before continuing our drive to Engelberg and our hotel, Kempinski Palace Engelberg, in the heart of the Swiss Alps.

Weather permitting, you can relax on the Hotel’s terrace, have a drink and enjoy the wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. We’ll savor a delightful dinner with drinks at this scenic hotel tonight. (B,L,D)

Monday, June 24th

• Drive Alpine roads including the Furka, Grimsel, and Susten passes
• Lunch at Grimsel Hospiz on Grimsel Pass (UPDATE: GRIMSEL IS CLOSED ON MONDAY)
• Dinner and drinks at Kempinski Palace Engelberg

Enjoy a delicious breakfast with mountain views at the Kempinski Palace Engleberg. We’ll depart in our PORSCHES for a fun day of driving in the Alps across the famous Furkapass and stop for lunch at Grimsel Hospiz overlooking the Alpine Grimsel Lake.

After lunch, we will drive over the Grimsel Pass and the Susten Pass before returning to our hotel, the Kempinski Palace Engleberg. We will enjoy another delightful dinner and drinks at the hotel tonight. (B,L,D)

Tuesday, June 25th

• Drive to the Black Forest in Germany
• Lunch at Landhotel Hirschen in Oberwolfach
• Return to Stuttgart and the Le Meridien Stuttgart Hotel
• Dinner and drinks at Stuttgarter Stäffele

Enjoy a delightful breakfast at the Kempinski Palace Engleberg before checking out and loading your luggage in our luggage van. We’ll depart for Stuttgart, stopping at the Inselhotel Konstanz on Lake Constance in the scenic Black Forest area for lunch.

After lunch, we will enjoy another wonderful run on the no speed-limit German Autobahn north towards Stuttgart. Unfortunately, you must return the PORSCHE you fell in love with when we arrive in Stuttgart! Our motorcoach will transport us back to the Le Meridien Stuttgart Hotel after we return our PORSCHES at the PORSCHE Museum.

We’ll check back into the Le Meridien where the remainder of the afternoon is free before we transfer via our motor coach to the charming Stuttgarter Stäffele for our Farewell Dinner and drinks. Try the delicious onion soup – it’s served in an onion! (B, L, D)

Wednesday, June 26th

• Depart Stuttgart
• Return home or onward travels

Enjoy another fabulous breakfast at the Le Meridien Stuttgart Hotel. If you are departing for North America, you will be transferred to the Stuttgart Airport for your return flight.
