Helen, GA - Gatlinburg, TN - Asheville, NC
Helen, Georgia is a Bavarian Alps replica in Appalachian Georgia, just like Germany. Tucked away at the entrance to the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, Gatlinburg is a bustling little tourist town that provides some of the best restaurants, shopping, attractions, and hotels of anywhere in the Southeast. Asheville is home to the Legendary Biltmore Estate and Inn.
World-class Spa & Golf Resorts will pamper you
We will be spending multiple nights at the various resorts on our trip. This will give you plenty of time to relax, enjoy the hotel's amenities and the surrounding towns and attractions.
Legendary Greenbrier & Biltmore Estates
Since 1778, visitors have traveled to "take the waters" at The Greenbrier area’s Sulphur springs. Today, The Greenbrier is situated on 11,000 acres of land with 710 guest rooms, 20 restaurants and lounges, more than 55 indoor and outdoor activities and sports, and 36 retail shops.
Biltmore House, the main residence on the estate, is a Château-style mansion built for George Washington Vanderbilt II, grandson of famed industrialist and philanthropist Cornelius Vanderbilt. Built between 1889 and 1895, it is the largest privately-owned house in the United States, at 178,926 square feet of floor space. Still owned by George Vanderbilt's descendants, it remains one of the most prominent examples of Gilded Age mansions.
Kimpton “PORSCHE” Hotel & Old Edwards Inn
The Kimpton Overland Hotel is one of the Atlanta area’s newest destination hotels, overlooking the 1.6-mile driver development track at the PORSCHE Experience Center and the runway at Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.
Perched atop the southwest plateau of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Old Edwards Inn and Spa is woven into Highlands community and culture. Situated in the heart of downtown, this European style resort offers a mountain retreat with luxury guestrooms, suites, cottages, and vacation homes, as well as farm-to-table restaurants and a destination spa.
Blowing Rock, Mabry Mill
Blowing Rock is an immense cliff 4,000 feet above sea level, overhanging Johns River Gorge. The phenomenon is so called because the rocky walls of the gorge form a flume through which the wind sweeps with such force that it returns light objects cast over the void.
Historic Mabry Mill, an authentic gristmill still grinding flour more than a century after its original construction. We’ll enjoy a country-style meal here including favorites such as barbecue pulled pork, chicken pot pie and blackberry cobbler.
Breakfasts, luncheons, cocktails & superb cuisine
Of course all meals, luncheons, cocktail parties and superb cuisine are included per the itinerary. From fabulous multi-course gourmet evening meals to delicious 'local fare' during our lunch stops along the way.
Fast Lane Fun Photo Rally – “Valuable” Prizes
We’ll meet briefly after breakfast to remind everyone of the “rules” of the Fast Lane Travel Photo Rally! We will then drive northeast through Pisgah National Forest, past Craggy Gardens, Little Switzerland, Linville Falls, Grandfather Mountain to Blowing Rock. Dinner will be our Photo Rally Cocktail Party & Banquet at the hotel with “valuable” prizes acquired with great thought, effort and determination at various flea markets – always a hilarious and fun evening.
Luggage van for your 'large' bags
You'll definitely want to bring a varied wardrobe on this trip... After an exhilarating drive in casual clothes, it's always nice to dress-up for cocktails and dinner. We'll have a luggage van that goes ahead of us with your large bags and they will be in your room at check-in.
Your car will be washed nightly
Our crew will wash your car for you every night. We all know that 'feeling' when we are driving a clean car.
